⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visited The Idli Project Toongabbie recently and absolutely loved it! The place has a very nice ambience with comfortable seating, and parking is easily available, which is a big plus. The South Indian food was excellent…probably one of the best in the area. We tried the mini podi donger thali, and it was full of authentic flavours and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended for anyone craving good South Indian food in and around Toongabbie

Wanted to try this place out as it popped up on my google maps while talking about dosas. It only opened a week and half ago! We tried out two dosas, and two starters and two teas. Total came up too $69. The service was very quick and attentive and explained the differences patiently to us. I think the Gobi 65 was a stand out! Loved my Ghee Masala Dosa but the only feedback I would give is that , there should be more filling! If I had came in and only had that I’d still be hungry. It was nice to receive a complementary taste of some almond halva. (but I’m not really a fan of Indian sweets). Loved the fact, after eating I could wash my hands & that they have parking right at the front. Apparently they have another outlet at Parklea markets. I want to come back and try that lunch special! Keep it clean and bump up the serving sizes and you should do well. Good luck!

Super excited that the idly project now has a sit down restaurant and their food is amazing as usual! We tried a few favourites- parotta and idiyappam- both dishes were very well made and reminded me of the times in Chennai! The staff however are the highlight of this place. They are friendly, polite and always looking to go the extra mile with service. Look forward to coming back soon to try the lunch thali and other dinner specials! Well done to the team

Wow wow wow! There is no need to go to India. I have always enjoyed dining at Idli Parklea and was so pleased to hear Idli opened a restaurant in Toogabbie. The menu is fabulous, everything they have at Parklea and more. Very tasty, fragrant and so fresh. Thank you for having us, we enjoyed our meal and coffee so much.
