We had a wonderful dining experience at A2B Springvale today. My wife and I ordered the special meals, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavourful, and served in generous portions. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. It's always great to find a place that consistently delivers authentic, high-quality food with excellent hospitality. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend A2B Springvale to anyone looking for a great South Indian dining experience.

Great Vegetarian Option in Melbourne ​If you’re looking for solid, authentic South Indian vegetarian food, A2B Melbourne is definitely worth a visit. ​The restaurant is in a good location, making it easy to get to. The dining room is quite spacious and can get busy, but the staff handles the crowd well with prompt service. Our food arrived quickly and without any hassle. ​The good food is the main draw here. We tried a few classic dishes: ​The Medu Vada had a great texture—crispy on the outside and soft inside, served with a well-spiced sambar. ​The Dosa was impressive in size, properly crisped, and came with a good selection of fresh chutneys. ​We finished the meal with a traditional Filter Coffee, which was strong, frothy, and authentic. ​Overall, it’s a reliable spot with great flavors, quick service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a casual meal.

Had such a lovely experience at this restaurant! The dosa was absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and freshly made. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice vibe. My favourite overall was definitely the rich chai tea — warm, comforting, and full of flavour. One of the best chai teas I’ve had in a while! You can really tell they put care into both the food and customer service. Will definitely come back again!

This restaurant has many options of dosa, idly, vada, and pongal that are served alongside accompaniments such as chutneys, podi, ghee, and sambhar. They offer delicious South Indian special weekend meals served with rice, chapattis, various curries, curd, and a sweet. A wide variety of hot and cold drinks are offered such as Chai, Filter Coffee, Lassi, and Jigarthanda, along with various ice creams and desserts. At the front counter, Indian sweets and paan are displayed for takeaway. While a good ambience is maintained, more time than usual may be taken by the staff for orders and to serve food, as the restaurant is frequently crowded with customers during weekends and public holidays.

I was here this Friday evening (22 MAY 2026) with my wife, our son and our daughter-in-law, for dinner. My wife and I are both yearly visitors to Melbourne and we are from Singapore/Malaysia - whereas my son and his wife are residents of Clayton. And this evening, it was the first time for the four of us dining here. That said, my wife and I are familiar with A2B, as we are regulars of its outlet in Singapore (see relevant photo herein) and we are both very familiar with South Indian vegetarian cuisine. This evening we ordered the following: a Rava Dosa, a Plain Dosa, a Dhal Fry, an A2B Special Noodles, a Gobi Manchurian Dry, and a Garlic Naan. As regards the breads here, they were satisfying and authentic, and the chutneys that went with the Dosas were good. As for Chindian Noodles, it was flavourful but quite oily. With respect to the Gobi Manchurian and Dhal Fry, both were very good. Service here was very good - I enjoyed bantering with the staff here of which a couple of them are from my home country of Malaysia. The dining ambience here was very nice - the dining area is much larger than the one in Singapore and dining here was much more comfortable.
