Very fresh, light, and not oily at all. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted authentic. I am not South Indian, but this is the best South Indian food I have had in Sydney. Highly recommended.

Visited ID Kitchen today and had a wonderful experience. We ordered Idli Sambar, Masala Dosa, Sweet Pongal, and a Poori plate. Overall, the food was really good and very satisfying. The best part was how light it felt on the stomach—you could clearly taste the freshness in every dish. The idlis were soft, the dosa was crisp and well-balanced, and the Sweet Pongal was comforting and perfectly made, also the masala Tea was really hot and well on taste, I genuinely enjoyed the meal. The only small observation was that the Pooris were a little oily. From my hospitality experience, this could be due to using a smaller wok or oil temperature management, but it’s a minor point and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Apart from that, everything was spot on. ID Kitchen is definitely a must-try for all South Indian food lovers, especially if you’re looking for fresh, authentic, and easy-on-the-stomach meals.

A fantastic place for authentic South Indian food! The dishes tasted truly home-style, made with minimal oil and full of traditional flavours. I loved all the dishes we ordered. All dishes were served with multiple chutneys with the meals—each one was delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine South Indian cuisine.

Absolutely amazing food! I had a meal here and everything was fresh, authentic and full of flavour. The dosa, sambhar and chutneys were perfect. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. If you love real South Indian taste, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely come back again

Undoubtedly best South Indian breakfast in Sydney. Loved each item we ordered . Sambar and chutneys are great. Poori breakfast reminds me home. Highly recommended. Sorry for giving empty plate pictures as food was so good we forgot to take pictures with full plate . But empty plates shows how good food was.
