They welcomed us for a late dinner even though it was almost closing time. We ordered cheese and garlic naan, ghee dosa and sahi paneer. The food was delicious! The pistachio lassi was creamy and nutty. Also ordered some sweets, they were one of the most well-balanced flavours, not too sweet! On top of that we were offered free freshly-fried scrumptious jelebi ❤️

If I could write 2 reviews, there would be one for 5 stars and one for 1 star. I walked past and noticed a machine making fresh jalebi. This is the only Indian sweet that I crave. So went inside to place my order. I asked for 3 pieces of sugar free at $3 a piece and 5 pieces of original for $5. We had to wait a while for the order. The sugar free taking a little longer. We started tucking into them as we walked away. The sugar free was a total disappointment. It felt like a soggy pikelet with hardly any sweetness. Then I had the original, super crispy and sweet, it had my tastebuds going into overdrive. If I were management I would totally take the sugar free off the menu. I toasted the two remaining pieces at home and they were more crispy and edible but nowhere near the original. All I know is that I will never be able to eat jalebi again without it being freshly made. Credit to the management for providing free meals to the community on Tuesday nights.

Even though we’re from Kerala and very particular about authentic taste, this is by far the cleanest and most homely Indian restaurant we’ve found. The food isn’t overly spicy or oily like many other places it’s light, healthy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Everything tastes fresh and comforting, just like home cooked meals. Our go to spot in Harris Park every single time.
