Best authentic Gujarati food in Melbourne, hands down 🙌 Tonight despite it being a very busy Saturday evening, all the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and everything was served promptly. Our entire experience was excellent—from the warm hospitality to the delicious food. This has definitely become one of our go-to places. Highly recommended! 😇

I had a wonderful dining experience at Kathiyavadi Krunch in Malvern East. The food was authentic, full of flavour and beautifully presented. We enjoyed a variety of traditional Gujarati dishes, from delicious curries and freshly made breads to tasty desserts, and everything was freshly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Another bonus is its convenient location, just a short walk from Darling Train Station, making it easy to reach by public transport. If you're looking to try authentic Gujarati vegetarian cuisine in Melbourne, I would definitely recommend Kathiyavadi Krunch. I'll happily return to try more dishes from the menu.

A good experience at Kathiyawadi krunch on a cold Winter evening. The bright, colorful & vibrant decor lifts up the spirit. With less staff on the floor, I would rate the service as average, we had to request them multiple times to clear the used plates. The jamnagar spicy ghugra bursts with flavour. The lilva kachori chaat is ok, found it a bit dense. The vegetable chilli 🌶 momos are super tasty & will go there to have more. We accompanied these with chaas. In mains, we had surti undhiyo, rajwadi dhokli, stuffed baby onion and potato & paired with jowar & bajra rotla. Enjoyed the spice level but rotla was too thick for my taste. Will definitely visit again but mostly for the starters ❤️ With the buzz around, dint take many photos.

Our favourite vegetarian place. We are not gujarati but we love the food. Been here a few times in the last 2 months. Last time we even called and placed our order 20 minutes before we got there. So we could be served sooner. Jignesh nerds a special mention for accomodating our asks and for recommendations. The staff are all wonderful, very attentive. We usually prefer early dinner. So 6-6.30pm works well as it is quiet then. My all time favourite is surati undhyo and fulka with butter milk. Always look forward to returning for more. Really recommend Kathiyawadi Krunch.
