We travelled all the way from Clyde to have dinner at Moksha Indian Restaurant in Carlton, and it was absolutely worth the drive! The food was outstanding—full of authentic flavours, beautifully presented, and every dish was delicious. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve visited in Melbourne. Highly recommend Moksha to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! 😊🌟

We went there for my Birthday and was made to feel special. The ambience, service, food was pretty good. Deepika walked us through the menu and made us aware of all the flavours and aromas they have to offer. We did return home a happy family.

“I celebrated my birthday here and it became one of the most special experiences for me. As a vegetarian Indian, finding genuinely good food is not easy, but this restaurant exceeded every expectation👏🏻👏🏻.The food quality was outstanding, everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the service was beyond amazing. The owner was incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and they even surprised me with a birthday 🎁 Hospitality like this is rare these days. Hands down the best Indian vegetarian restaurant in the city. Highly, highly recommended 🤍❤️

What a great night we had, everything was amazing, a beautiful journey of aromas and flavours, with fantastic service. The atmosphere is exceptional, a must do! Started with this photo of the cocktails and the most delicious Bombay Crunch that arrived at our table. Food arrived and was so good, forgot about photos and just devoured what was presented to us, soooo delicious! Can't wait to go back soon 😋🙂

Moksha Dining & Bar @ Lygon is truly one of a kind. As a vegetarian who loves discovering unique vegetarian spots, this place genuinely surprised me in the best way. It’s not your typical Indian restaurant, the creativity on the menu is on another level, with dishes you simply won’t find anywhere else in Melbourne. The Biryani Arancini completely stole the show for me, such a clever fusion idea, perfectly crisp on the outside and bursting with beautifully spiced biryani flavours inside. The Blueberry Payasam was another standout, a fresh, modern twist on a classic dessert that was both comforting and exciting at the same time. And the Kokum drink, Absolutely refreshing and the perfect companion to the meal. Beyond the food, the restaurant has a really cool, relaxed vibe. I loved the subtle artistic touches throughout the space that celebrate Indian culture without being over the top — it feels modern, stylish, and welcoming all at once. The overall menu feels thoughtfully curated and different from anything else around. We’re already planning our next visit to try the “Italian Affair” section — if it’s anything like what we’ve already had, we’re in for something special. Highly recommend!
