We had a birthday celebration and the food was delicious. The Peking duck was not what we expected, but overall the food was delicious and I would highly recommend it for vegetarian and vegan diners. Even if you are not strictly a vegan, this restaurant has delicious nutritious and beautifully presented food with great service in the heart of Sydney.

Delicious vegetarian restaurant with a wide menu and dishes I have never tried before. Even the basics such as the wonton soup was amazing and tasted freshly made. Some have commented on wait time, and though it wasn't a super fast turnaround, we didn't notice a long wait. Though we arrived around 5:45 and the place was mostly empty. Highly recommend!

Quick fix for vegetables/tofu and soy dishes! There are so many choices and sauces and combinations. We ordered the clay pot tofu with vegetables. Steamed eggplant and soy meat with basil sauce. Dishes were served fast and pretty generous proportions.

We absolutely love coming to Mother Chu's Vegetarian Kitchen as a family. Every dish we’ve tried has been fantastic. Our kids can’t get enough of the crispy gluten with wonton noodle soup, while we keep going back for the chilli noodle soup. The flavours are just beautiful — fresh Thai basil, lemongrass and Thai chilli make the broth incredibly fragrant and flavourful. It’s comforting, satisfying and full of authentic taste. Definitely one of our favourite vegetarian spots!

This was highly recommended by someone, and we wanted to try how a complete vegetarian Chinese restaurant will taste like ! And it was as really great! There were lots of options and had added pictures to make your choice as a lot of ingredients were unknown and a lot of dishes we tried for the first time ! We had a great time picking and choosing and everything tasted great.. couldn’t really pick up on anything negative. Service however faltered.. dishes were brought in late, the server kept forgetting things that we had asked for and that basically costed them five stars. A good food accompanied by good service is what people come for. However still thing the restaurant is great and a must try if you are in city
