It was nice to see my regional delicacies being represented globally at Sydney for the first time. They offer NO onion or garlic options too. Can be customized to suit vegans. The service was very friendly and interactive. We ordered a range of regional favourites and none of them disappointed. Would suggest this place to all mu friends and family. Can't wait to take them with me the next time!

Best vegetarian food I've ever had! Prudhvee was so kind in helping me choose dishes as a first timer, every dish he suggested was absolutely delicious!, I cleaned every dish and left no crumbs! The place is clean, warm and inviting and the staff are so kind. I enjoyed my meal so much I forgot to take a picture, however I managed to get a picture of the rasmalai which was just as delicious! I definitely recommend you try them out 10/10

Neelgiri Cafe is a hidden gem near Macquarie Park. If you're looking for authentic, homestyle vegetarian or vegan food, I highly recommend this place. It's located in a peaceful setting with a clean, welcoming atmosphere something that really stands out compared to many other Indian restaurants. I've tried their dosa, chai, snacks, sambar rice, and full meal thali, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A wonderful spot for a satisfying and comforting meal!

If you are vegan, you will definitely enjoy your meal at Neelgri Cafe! It is about a 5 minute walk from Macquarie Park Station, so it is easily accessible. The male server (I didn't get his name) was extremely helpful once I told him I was vegan, and helped me to choose dishes as someone who has never really tried South Indian food. 🍛 Dosa with Potato Masala For my first time trying dosa, this was super delicious! The dosa was crispy and the side dishes were very flavourful. 🍚 Traditional Idly The idly are served in the same sauce that came with my dosa. It was not spicy yet very flavourful. The idly themselves were also really nice. 🍫 Dessert Dosa with Biscoff To finish, the dosa with Biscoff was really nice! Again, the dosa was crispy, and there was enough biscoff spread to eat with every bite. For anyone looking for South Indian food I would definitely recommend Neelgri Cafe! I am hoping to be back as I was told that there would be new vegan desserts on the menu soon so I am looking forward to that!!

Neelgri tops out for authenticity. The szechuan condiment will turn you into a fire-breathing dragon, as God intended. Saturday morning but brisk business. Dosas are top notch, will be back to try others. Ginger and masala teas smooth as silk, goes down easy. Filtered coffee has alkali aromas and balanced bitterness. Food is prepped with love, fresh off the gridle if you order ala carte. Go on. Be a man. Double the chilli, impress your date for once.
