Tarun Patel opened Num Num's Bakery on Wigram Street, Harris Park in 2019 with one rule: every cake we sell will be 100% eggless. Not some cakes. Not most cakes. Every single one, every single time.The motivation was personal. Vegetarian and Jain families in Sydney had long faced the same frustration: they could not walk into most bakeries and order a celebration cake without worrying about what was inside. Birthdays passed with shop-bought biscuits or no cake at all. Tarun wanted to change that. Not as a niche product, but as the default. Everything at Num Num's is eggless. You never have to ask.
