⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Taste of Maharashtra – One of the Best Indian Meals We’ve Ever Had Having travelled to more than 55 countries and lived in London, Singapore, and Australia, we have experienced countless cuisines and Indian restaurants around the world. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Maharashtrian restaurants we have ever visited. The highlight of the meal was the Zunka Bhakari. This traditional Maharashtrian dish perfectly showcases how incredible simple food can be. The zunka, made from gram flour and spices, was packed with flavour without being overloaded with heavy masalas or excessive spice. It was wholesome, authentic, and beautifully balanced. The bhakari, made in the traditional style, was soft, fresh, and paired perfectly with the zunka. What makes Maharashtrian food special is that it focuses on the quality of ingredients and authentic cooking techniques rather than masking flavours with rich gravies or excessive spices. The combination of zunka, bhakari, Brinjal, and thecha creates a meal that is rustic, nutritious, and deeply satisfying. If you want to experience real Maharashtrian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The food is honest, flavourful, and memorable. Sometimes the best food is not the most complicated—it is the food that celebrates tradition, simplicity, and taste. This Zunka Bhakari meal is a perfect example of that. Highly recommended. One of the best Indian food experiences we have ever had. 🇮🇳🙏

Decided to try this new local indian restaurant. Lots of Indian patrons which is a good sign. First time trying maharashtrian food so not familiar with names of food. Menu had no photos but thankfully our waitress was very helpful and explained each item. We also googled the names so we can see pictures of the actual dish. Food was delicious. Our favorite was the kanda pohe and pithla, so much flavour! Some were slightly spicy for my partner but we liked to experience the authentic flavours and spice levels of dishes so we can grow our taste buds. I hope they have a separate Menu in the future with pictures for each item so it be easier for people who might not be used to maharashtrian food. Or update the qr code digital menu to include photos for each item as at present, most photos are missing. Standout for us was actually the service. Waitress was outstanding, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Made the whole experience wonderful. All vegetarian but we were so full at the end and didnt feel like we missed out.

A unique effort to present authentic Maharashtrian food to Perth residents . 100% vegetarian restaurant. Pros: unique, authentic, excellent customer service, new experience, vegetarian Cons: menu has authentic Maharashtrian names.. so difficult for anyone who is not exposed to Maharashtrian food to understand the menu (struggled as an Indian, but the staff was very helpful). Bills were rounded off even though we paid by credit card. Verdict: must try if you are a food enthusiast. For owner: please have a menu with photos to dishes and a description. Will save you lot of time.

We visited this restaurant this afternoon to try Maharashtrian food, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The place is filled with authentic Maharashtrian vibes—from the décor and the way the food is served to the warmth of the staff. It genuinely felt like enjoying a meal in a Maharashtrian home. Everything tasted delicious, and the hospitality made the experience even more special. Definitely worth trying.

We recently visited this newly opened Maharashtrian Restaurant, and it was such a delightful experience! The food was absolutely authentic, just like homemade flavors. We tried the Puri Bhaji and Shrikhand and it was amazing. Zunka Bhakri and Shev Bhaji was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality ingredients and the care that goes into each preparation. The flavors were perfectly balanced, fresh and true to traditional recipes. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a different style of Indian cuisine. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!
