Visited Saravanaa Bhavan North Sydney today and tried the Rava Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Lunch Thali Meal, and Idly. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Rava Masala Dosa it was crispy, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The idly was served hot, soft, and fresh, and paired perfectly with the authentic-tasting sambar. The Mysore Masala Dosa was also enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Lunch Thali Meal did not meet my expectations and was the least impressive dish of the visit. If you're planning to visit, I would highly recommend trying the Idly and Rava Masala Dosa. Great taste, authentic flavours, and a satisfying South Indian experience overall.

A wonderful experience at Sarbat Bhavan! The food was fresh, authentic, and full of traditional South Indian flavours. From the crispy dosas to the delicious chutneys and perfectly made dosas and we had coffee, everything was prepared with great care and quality. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a warm family-friendly atmosphere. The staff were courteous, attentive, and ensured we had a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.

North Sydney's hidden gem of an Indian restaurant. Authentic South Indian dishes including the signature Dhosa varieties, idly and pongal. Great food portions and excellent quality. The seating area is small but cozy and few outdoor seats available. Weekends have special thali offering. Located just besides Victoria Cross metro station.

The channa samosa chaat was really good and the standout dish. It was very valuable and a good portion. The dosa was crispy but a little bit oily. The size of the dosa was huge. The potato filling was okay, it was a bit soggy but overall the dosa really good. The sauces that came with the dosa were just okay. The thali was a decent portion, variety of vegetarian dishes and was quite good, but a bit expensive for what you get.
