Really enjoyed my experience here! The menu has a great variety, covering everything from North Indian to South Indian dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The food came out super fast and everything we tried was really tasty. Service was also a highlight. Kanishk was especially sweet and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a spot I’d come back to

We had an amazing entrée at Taj. All the entrées were flavorful , the best entrées and desserts you could have. The prices are very affordable, and I also loved the tea and coffee here. The entrées are a must-try.The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Came here craving for Pani puri which was nice, slightly on the muted side. I feel the flavor could have been more intense rather than subtle. Tried out kachori for the first time, it was pretty nice. Portion was pretty big and filling. The service was amazing tho, very friendly and pleasant. Every question about the meal was explained in a very delightful manner.

We discovered this lovely vegetarian Indian restaurant yesterday while walking around Surry Hills and it was a great surprise! We were drawn in by the beautiful display of Indian sweets and decided to try a few. The service was excellent, the staff kindly explained the differences between the pastries, including ingredients and prices. We chose a mixed selection and enjoyed it with a delicious masala chai. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant is also very nice : clean, spacious, and well designed. The prices looked very reasonable too. We’ll definitely come back to try their menu for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!

I got some assorted takeaway indian sweets and truly enjoyed every single piece. The food rating I have is for their sweets. Taj has a good variety of indian sweets that are freshly made. They are made ready for consumption in the shop or ready for takeaway. The staff who attended to us was friendly, patient and meticulous. As we knew little of Indian sweets, he took the time to explain each one and was mindful of recommending those he knew met our dietary asks. For takeaway, customers can choose between buying the number of pieces or any combination of variety by weight. The sweets were fresh and surprisingly not overly sweet. They accept either cash or card. Please note to come here, it is either by driving or bus.
