It’s easy to see why The Idli Project in Toongabbie has such a high rating. The South Indian food here is really good and super authentic. I tried their Thali during my visit, and it was genuinely exceptional. Rava dosa, paneer dosa were also great. Everything on the plate tasted fresh and was well-prepared. The place is on the smaller side, and it was completely jam-packed when I went. That said, I was really impressed by how well they managed the crowd and orders. Despite how busy it was, everything ran smoothly without any hassle or long waits. Overall, great food, efficient service, and a very solid dining experience. If you're in Toongabbie and craving authentic South Indian food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Will definitely be coming back.

Best South Indian food hands down. Gosh everything is so delicious. The space is super clean and modern and service is great. This might have to become my regular!

A refreshing food spot for authentic South Indian tiffin delights, served with flavour and genuine hospitality. Our group enjoyed a variety of dosas, idlis, parotta with kuruma, vadas, filter coffee and karupatti badam halwa - each dish was delicious, complemented perfectly by the flavourful sambhar and trio of chutneys. Despite the long weekend rush and a wait of over 25 minutes for a table, the team remained warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. Special appreciation to Naresh, Yash, Shivani, Sneha, and Sathish - your professionalism and friendly service truly elevated our experience. While a few dishes have room for refinement, the overall experience was excellent. Wishing Idli Project continued success in serving consistently great flavours alongside the outstanding hospitality that will attract customers coming back. A well-deserved 5-star experience.

What an outstanding dining experience! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh, and truly authentic, with every dish prepared to perfection. The quality of the food, the flavours, and the presentation exceeded my expectations and made for a fantastic start to the day. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly hospitable, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Their genuine warmth, humility, and professionalism created a wonderful atmosphere and made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to find a place that excels in both food and customer service, but this restaurant certainly does. The combination of amazing food, a friendly environment, and such a dedicated team makes it a standout destination for breakfast. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable dining experience. Kudos to the entire crew for doing such a fantastic job!
